A very refined and elegant two weight regulator from Gustav Becker circa 1890-1900. The long and graceful cabinet is finished in a rich walnut veneer complimented with finely carved ornaments and delicate finials which are original and in fine condition. The porcelain dial is pristine, and without hairlines or chips. The brass pendulum bob and weights are also excellent. This is a very grand and luxurious looking clock, and pictures do not really do it justice. The eight days movement chimes on the hour and half-hour on a mellow spring gong. Although the over-all condition is outstanding, there are two small pieces of veneer missing near the bottom finials (see pictures), but this is hardly noticeable and an easy repair if desired. Length is 112 cm.
