Here is an absolutely out-standing Gustav Becker from circa 1925. The finely fitted dark Oak cabinet is in without cracks or blemish, and the lines are clean and attractive. The silvered dial is in like-new condition, without cleaning damage or ware, and there are no scratches even around the key arbors. This is a very rare find indeed! The silvered pendulum bob is the same, except for a very small pin-prick dent which is hardly noticeable. The curved glass inserts on the door corners must be very rare as this is the first and only one I have ever come across. This clock has obviously had very little use, and even the original Gustav Becker trade sticker on the back is in fine condition (see pictures). This clock has an eight days four hammer movement, and the 'bim bam' chimes are on four tuned metal rods. The sound is delightful! Height is: 76cm.
