This clock dates from approx 1890, and has a very unusual style. All Lenzkirch clocks were designed and built 'in house' and I have never seen another quite like this. Solidly constructed of fine Oak, with all of the rich carving and elegant ornamentation that one associates with Lenzkirch clocks. The highly decorative dial is in top condition, and the beautiful brass bezel is a work of art in itself. The convex shaped glass is original, as is everything else about this clock. This model chimes on the hour and half hour on a pleasant gong, which is not overly loud or intrusive. Size is 78X52 cm.
